Appointment Policies

Payment

Visa or MasterCard is required to schedule an appointment. Money orders for half the session fee accepted for those without a credit card. Please call 973-945-1338 for details.

When To Make Your Appointment

Please consult our 3D 4D Ultrasound Calendar to assist in selecting the best time during your pregnancy for scheduling your appointment(s). Please be advised our schedule is booked several weeks in advance; therefore we recommend calling for your appointment as early in your pregnancy as possible. We frequently make appointments for women who just found out they're pregnant.

Proof of Prenatal Care

All women are required to demonstrate proof of prenatal care before a scan will be performed. We typically require you to bring a previous ultrasound picture which we will take a photocopy of for your file. Should you not have an ultrasound picture, alternative forms of prenatal verification will be considered in consultation with the owner.

Late Arrivals and Cancellation Policies

Please be advised we keep a very tight schedule to insure our clients have little or no wait time. Appointments are scheduled back to back with no breaks in between. Therefore if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment you must reschedule or choose to use the remaining time in your session. If you choose to do neither, you will be billed for the entire missed session.

Please allow ample travel time as we can not control traffic conditions or the time you arrive. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, we ask that you call the office to determine what steps should be taken in regards to your appointment. We strive to run our location much different than many other types of offices where you may wait an hour (or even longer) for your appointment. We are certain you will appreciate our respect for your time.

We also ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule that you provide us with 48 hours advance notice. Should you not provide at least 48 hours notice, there will be a $100 charge to your credit card. We thank you for your cooperation with this policy.

Directions and Map

Peek-A-Womb is located in Bergen County, New Jersey just 20 minutes from the New York GW Bridge and a short drive from many Northern NJ locations including Bloomfield and Hoboken.

Please note: If you do not know if you are coming from a town East or West of Elmwood Park, please consult a map. Unfortunately, we do not live in the area and have limited ability to help navigate you if you get lost. The directions are almost exactly the same except for the difference of a right or left turn onto Market Street. It is crucial that you know which direction you are coming from to make the appropriate turn.

If you are coming from a town West of Elmwood Park

Take Route 80 East to Exit #61 Garfield/Elmwood Park
At the bottom of the exit ramp you will come to a light
Take a left at this light onto River Drive
At the very next light take a right onto Market Street
Go 0.4 miles on Market Street and take a right into our parking lot - will be just before our sign and is marked with a One Way sign.
Go around the back and you will see parking signs for Peek-A-Womb on your left.

If you are coming from a town East of Elmwood Park

Take Route 80 West to Exit #61 Garfield/Elmwood Park
At the bottom of the exit ramp take a left onto River Drive
Almost immediately you will come to another light
Take a left at this light onto Market Street
Go 0.4 miles on Market Street and take a right into our parking lot - will be just before our sign and is marked with a One Way sign.
Go around the back and you will see parking signs for Peek-A-Womb on your left.

From the Garden State Parkway North

Take Exit #159 for Route 80.
Continue by following the directions above for "Coming From A Town East of Elmwood Park"
